We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide delivery oversight and coordination across multiple concurrent initiatives within a large, complex health system. This individual will support projects spanning imaging, revenue cycle, applications, and infrastructure, partnering closely with IT, operational leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive successful execution.
Operating within a highly matrixed environment, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining alignment across workstreams, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring initiatives remain focused on organizational priorities and expected value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent healthcare IT initiatives across imaging, revenue cycle, applications, and infrastructure
Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables
Coordinate sequencing and priorities across multiple teams and active workstreams
Partner with IT and operational leadership to ensure projects remain aligned with strategic and business objectives
Facilitate collaboration among application, infrastructure, operational, and vendor teams
Manage vendor integration activities, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables
Proactively identify and escalate project risks, resource constraints, and competing priorities
Provide clear project status reporting and executive-level communication to key stakeholders
Support value realization by maintaining focus on project outcomes, adoption, and organizational objectives
Required Experience
Significant project management experience within healthcare IT and/or a large health system
Epic experience
Demonstrated success managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong experience working within highly matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience coordinating application, infrastructure, operational, and vendor stakeholders
Strong vendor management and integration experience
Ability to independently drive execution, resolve issues, and manage competing priorities
Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive presence
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting imaging and/or revenue cycle initiatives
Epic certification(s) preferred but not required
PMP certification preferred but not required
