This role is part of a remote project supporting a client in the healthcare and medical technology sector, focused on optimizing SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities within a complex enterprise environment. The selected candidate will contribute to improving Finance and Supply Chain Finance workflows, data quality, reporting, integrations, and product-led delivery in collaboration with business and technology teams.
About the Role
We are looking for a senior Finance Product Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise to support a global project in the healthcare and medical technology sector.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance, SAP, Product, and Technology. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP Finance functional expertise with product or business process ownership, including roadmap planning, prioritization, backlog management, user stories, and collaboration with both business and technical teams.
This is not a traditional FP&A, Financial Analyst, or Accounting position.
Key Responsibilities
Support the SAP S/4HANA Finance product vision and roadmap.
Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and product requirements.
Manage and prioritize backlog items, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Support solution design, integrations, workflows, reporting, and Finance process improvements.
Drive continuous improvement across SAP Finance processes.
Support Agile delivery, testing, implementation, and adoption of new capabilities.
Identify opportunities to improve Finance and Supply Chain Finance processes through automation, analytics, AI, and digital tools.
Coordinate priorities across Finance, Product, Technology, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Technology, SAP, Product Management, Finance Technology, or related roles.
8+ years of experience working with SAP ERP solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FI/CO.
Experience with SAP Finance functional requirements, configuration, solution design, implementation, migration, or transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Financial Accounting, Controlling, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, reporting, integrations, and workflows.
Experience with product or business process ownership, including roadmap planning, prioritization, backlog management, user stories, or acceptance criteria.
Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
Advanced English, written and spoken.
Nice to Have
Experience with FSCM, RAR, Treasury, Central Finance, or other SAP Finance capabilities.
SAP Activate or Fit-to-Standard experience.
Experience in healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other global enterprise environments.
Exposure to AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital Finance transformation.
Experience working with international and distributed teams.
