About Us:
Since early 2024, we have been developing an intelligent wearable designed to empower people and enhance daily life through AI assistance. We combine compact hardware, advanced sensors, and real-time AI to deliver intuitive, accessible help to everyday people. Our device changes the way by which we connect with and use technology as humans, by introducing a voice-first technology that understands you conversationally and can carry out tangible tasks or requests using sensor data, advanced AI and IoT.
Location: Melbourne, Australia (open to hybrid/remote applications)
Team: 20 engineers (hardware, software, AI) + 3 commercial strategists
Role:
We’re currently looking for an experienced web designer to join our design team. This role will own development of our public website and the multiple frontends we’re building for different platforms (marketing site, dashboard, app interfaces, and platform-specific frontends).
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the public website.
Optimize frontend performance, accessibility and cross-platform behaviour.
Work closely with product, design, embedded and mobile teams to ensure consistent UX across platforms.
Core Expertise:
Expert-level experience building sites in React and Typescript and producing production-ready outputs.
Strong skills in HTML, CSS (including responsive and accessible design), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWA), mobile-first design, and strategies for delivering lightweight, fast frontends for constrained devices.
Experience with version control (Git).
Key Experience:
3+ years building production frontends for consumer-facing products, marketing sites, or dashboards.
Demonstrable portfolio of projects.
