Sales/Marketing Communications Analyst

This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.
The RFP Marketing Content Analyst will serve as a strategic storyteller for our organization by creating engaging, winning RFP content. You will partner with with subject matter experts across the company to create and maintain a suite of RFP content that showcases our differentiated value to prospective clients and highlights our strong position in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, product development, strategic planning, proposal management, content strategy and management, copywriting and/or go-to-market strategy, and be excellent at building strong, authentic relationships.
Essential Functions
Develop deep understanding of market dynamics and client & consultant needs, and position proposal content to uniquely meet those needs
Build and maintain template responses for our highest volume consultants and coalitions
Communicate strong points of view based on market insights, client feedback, and consultant guidance, and use that point of view to influence stakeholders in creating winning responses, while appropriately mitigating business risk
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our RFP workflow and database management tool (Responsive), employ critical thinking to content structure within the tool, and drive greater efficiency and effectiveness into the proposal management process
Ensure RFP content is accurate and client-appropriate by partnering closely with subject matter experts across the organization
Regularly engage in complex conversations with leadership regarding Pricing & Sales strategy
Build strong, deep relationships with key cross-functional partners
Lead and execute process optimization initiatives as part of our department's strategic transformation
Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills to support interactions with VP-level colleagues
2-3 years of experience in management consulting, sales consulting, marketing, product development, strategic planning, proposal management, content strategy and management, copywriting, and/or go-to-market strategy strongly preferred
Strategic thinker with a passion for learning and understanding, with ability to connect dots and effectively translate internal descriptions and terminology into client-facing content
Ability to conduct a thorough investigation into root cause of a problem, separate relevant facts from less essential or unnecessary data, and develop options and recommendation on a solution
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully navigate ambiguity, and work independently with minimal guidance
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent prioritization and time management skills
Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently
Experience in directing or working with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to develop deep cross-functional relationships, both within day-to-day work activities and beyond directly-assigned tasks
Demonstrated ability to coordinate tools, resources and people through to project completion
Sales proposal experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business Administration, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $35/hour-$38/hour
