SALES REPRESENTATIVE — REMOTE (US HOURS)
Zay Revenue Group / Zayos
THE MATH YOU'LL BE SELLING
An independent restaurant doing $40,000 a month through DoorDash, Uber
Eats and Grubhub pays roughly 30% in commission. That's $12,000 a month.
$144,000 a year. Out of a business running on thin margins.
Zayos gives that restaurant its own ordering site, its own customer list,
and its own margin, for a flat monthly fee. No commission on orders. None
on tips.
You are not selling software. You are showing an owner a number they have
never added up, and offering them a way to keep it.
COMPENSATION — READ THIS PART PROPERLY
Base $500 USD per month
Commission 10% of each restaurant's monthly subscription,
every month, for as long as you are with us
Uncapped No ceiling, no quota clawback
Our plans run $499 to $699 per location per month. So each restaurant you
close is roughly $50 to $70 a month in your pocket — and it keeps arriving
while that restaurant stays with us.
What that compounds to, if you close four a month:
Month 1 4 restaurants ~$740 total
Month 3 12 restaurants ~$1,220 total
Month 6 24 restaurants ~$1,940 total
Month 12 48 restaurants ~$3,380 total
That is arithmetic on our real pricing, not a promise — your close rate is
yours to earn. But it shows the shape: the work you do in month one is
still paying you in month twelve.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Call independent restaurant owners in the US. Mostly cold, mostly by
phone. Owner-operators, not committees.
- Run their numbers with them, live, using their real marketplace volume.
- Book and run demos, and close. Short cycle, small deals, high volume.
- Log everything in our CRM so the next person can pick up where you left.
- Tell us what isn't working in the pitch. You'll hear the objections
before we do.
WHO YOU'RE CALLING
Independent restaurants, cafes, bakeries and dessert shops across the US.
Many are family-run and immigrant-owned. Best reached mid-afternoon,
between the lunch and dinner rush, when the owner can actually talk.
WHAT WE NEED
- Real phone sales experience. Outbound, not inbound support.
- Comfortable being told no, often, and dialling again.
- Clear spoken English, and the ability to hold a numbers conversation
without reading a script.
- Reliable internet, a quiet place to call from, and the ability to work
US business hours consistently.
Bonus, genuinely: restaurant or hospitality background, or Arabic or
Spanish alongside English. A meaningful share of the owners we call speak
one of those at home.
WHAT WE ARE NOT
We are early. There are real restaurants paying us and real revenue, and
there is no polished sales playbook — you would be helping write it. If
you need a mature process handed to you on day one, this will frustrate
you, and we would rather say that now than in month two.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply through LinkedIn. Every applicant goes through a short screening
interview, and we read all of them. Answer in specifics — numbers, real
deals, things you actually said. Generic answers are the fastest way to
be screened out.
