Hiring: Athletic Trainer | Sports Event

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Athletic Trainer to support athletes throughout a major sporting event. The role will involve pre-event preparation, on-site athlete support, recovery, and post-event care.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced sporting environment and responding to athletes’ needs professionally and promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site athletic training support throughout the event.
Assist athletes with pre-event preparation, including stretching, mobility work, soft-tissue techniques, and recovery support.
Remain available during event hours to respond to athlete requirements.
Provide appropriate recovery, stretching, mobility, and soft-tissue support as required.
Assist with post-event recovery sessions, including stretching, massage, and other appropriate recovery techniques.
Maintain professional standards of athlete care, safety, hygiene, and confidentiality.
Coordinate with the event medical and support team when required.
Maintain and manage the equipment and supplies required for athletic training services.
Requirements
Relevant qualification/certification in Athletic Training, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, or a related field.
Previous experience working with athletes or sports teams preferred.
Strong understanding of sports recovery, stretching, mobility, and soft-tissue techniques.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work extended event hours in a dynamic sporting environment.
Professional, reliable, and responsive approach to athlete care.
Equipment & Supplies
The selected professional should be prepared to bring the standard equipment and supplies required for athletic training services, such as massage/recovery equipment, treatment supplies, and athletic tape/strapping materials, as applicable.
