Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and driving Utsaha Fintech’s long-term strategic direction. The CSO will lead strategic planning initiatives, evaluate new markets and products, and align business priorities with the company’s growth objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitive analyses, assessing financial and operational performance, and collaborating with executive leadership to design and implement strategic roadmaps. The CSO will oversee cross-functional strategic projects, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and ensure that organizational goals are clearly communicated and executed. This role also involves advising on major investments, partnerships, and risk management to support sustainable expansion.
Qualifications
Strong Strategic Planning and Business Planning skills, with experience designing and executing long-term growth strategies.
Advanced Analytical Skills and financial acumen, including proficiency in interpreting financial statements and market data.
Deep understanding of Finance within lending or broader financial services environments.
Executive Management experience, including leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Proven experience in a senior strategy, consulting, or corporate development role, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setup.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable results under tight timelines.
Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Finance, Economics, or related field) is highly beneficial.
