Missionary (Development Officer)

Company Description Camp Treehouse is a faith-based organization dedicated to supporting our Nation’s Heroes (Veterans, First Responders, and their families) struggling with Combat and or work-related trauma ~ impacting individuals and communities through spiritual growth, education, and outreach. The organization focuses on creating engaging programs and resources that encourage personal development, community building, and service. Camp Treehouse emphasizes compassionate leadership, integrity, and collaboration in all of its initiatives. Team members work together remotely to design and deliver impactful experiences that reflect the organization’s mission and values.
Role Description The Missionary (Development Officer) is a full-time remote role responsible for advancing Camp Treehouse’s mission through spiritual development, outreach, and relationship-building with a focus building long-term Finacial Faith Partners, Strategic Partnerships and helping to equip those within the organization the necessary resources to fullfill the ministry God called is to. Also responsible for Day-to-day tasks include leading and facilitating Bible study sessions, providing discipleship and mentoring to participants, and creating training materials that support spiritual growth and practical ministry skills. The role involves coordinating and conducting evangelism initiatives, nurturing partnerships with churches, community groups, and supporters, and communicating program updates and impact reports to stakeholders. The Missionary (Development Officer) will collaborate with team members to plan new programs, maintain accurate records of engagement activities, and contribute to strategic planning and fundraising efforts that sustain and expand Camp Treehouse’s work.
Ongoing trainning and coaching in both Individual Support Raising and in Development provided.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Bible knowledge and experience leading Bible study in group or one-on-one settings.
Demonstrated discipleship skills, including mentoring, spiritual guidance, and ongoing support for individuals and small groups.
Experience in training others in ministry-related topics, with the ability to develop clear, accessible teaching materials and resources.
Practical experience in evangelism, outreach, and relationship-building with churches, Veterans and First Responders organization

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, encourage, and inspire remotely.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team using digital tools.
Commitment to Camp Treehouse’s faith-based mission and values, with high ethical standards and cultural sensitivity.
Prior experience in ministry, nonprofit work, or community development is preferred; relevant training or theological education is an asset.
