Senior Embedded Coder

Job Description
The Senior Embedded Coder will be supporting the next generation of aerospace power distribution electronics. They will be responsible for developing new and revising existing firmware. They will adhere to the full software develoment lifecycle according to DO-178. Below are the basic job responsibilities:
Gitlab pipelines for test automation.
Generate deliverables and documentation.
Software Architecture Design, Planning and Documentation.
Programming Arm Cortex microcontrollers.
Programming 16-bit PIC microcontrollers.
Serial communications protocols (RS485, SPI, I2C, 1553, ARINC 429 & 825, CAN).
Non-volatile Memory, EEPROM Emulation, ROM, storage of configuration constants.
Cybersecurity requirements including boot protection, image verification, NVM.
CI/CD using GitLab.
DO-178 development.
MISRA-C linting.
Writing and utilizing bootloaders.
Debugging.
Selection of MCUs for new products.
Support software using LabView, python, Excel, and Matlab/Octave.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience with embedded software languages.
Bachelors degree in relevant industry.
Experience with DO-178.
Knowledge of tools and test methods needed to debug firmware solutions.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Current US Citizen eligible to support ITAR, CUI, NOFORN programs.
Compensation
$135,000 to $165,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors including skills, experience, education, and location of residence.
