The Mission
Plotsy transforms written books into cinematic, episodic videos via the Plotsy vBook™ and our proprietary Cineversion™ process. We are seeking a Junior AI Artist to support our production units by generating high-quality cinematic assets, character iterations, and initial sequence layouts. Your core focus is execution and continuity—turning locked scripts and established design packages into rich, shot-ready visual assets.
How You Will Spend Your Time
50% Asset & Shot Generation: Running iteration cycles on AI tools to turn pre-production designs into consistent, production-ready cinematic shots.
20% Asset Organization: Sorting, tagging, and structuring hundreds of generated visual assets for the senior editing timeline.
15% Rough Sequencing: Arranging your generated assets into basic timelines within Premiere or Resolve to check narrative flow.
15% Feedback Integration: Reviewing work with Lead Editors, executing revisions, and documenting prompt data.
Daily Responsibilities
Maintain Visual Continuity: Ensure character, lighting, and environment frames match seamlessly across a sequence.
Execute Cinematic Framing: Apply understanding of composition, lenses, camera angles, and lighting to fulfill storyboard needs.
Generate Scene Coverage: Build the visual blocks the editor needs, including wide shots, over-the-shoulders, singles, and inserts.
Clean AI Artifacts: Catch and fix visual glitches, double limbs, or background flaws using in-painting, masking, or regeneration.
Document Workflows: Track successful seed numbers and prompt structures to optimize the studio's technical pipeline.
What You Must Bring
Foundational Cinematic Eye: Grasp of visual storytelling, framing, lighting, blocking, and composition.
Generative Familiarity: Hands-on experience with platforms like Midjourney, Nano Banana, Kling, Veo, or Runway, including seed management.
Basic NLE Literacy: Comfort working within Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve to organize bins and handle basic sequencing.
Attention to Detail: An acute sensitivity to visual continuity errors and technical AI artifacts that break immersion.
Coachability & Patience: The resilience to run a prompt dozens of times, plus the eagerness to take creative direction.
