Outside Sales & Merchandising Representative – Joplin Territory

Impulse Plus Inc. is hiring an Outside Sales & Merchandising Representative to manage an established territory in Joplin, Missouri, and the surrounding area.
This is an active, field-based position for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and working independently. No two days are exactly the same! Our inventory is constantly changing, giving you new products and sales opportunities to share with local convenience stores and independent retailers.
Responsibilities include:
• Visiting existing customers on an assigned schedule
• Taking orders and introducing new products
• Building displays and merchandising products in stores
• Developing strong relationships with store owners and managers
• Identifying opportunities to increase customer sales
• Calling on new businesses and growing the territory
• Keeping accurate customer, order and route information
The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Outside sales experience is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with strong retail, merchandising, route-service, convenience-store or customer-service experience.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory are required.
