HR & People Operations Executive

Tranquelent is a technology and engineering services company focused on Semiconductor, Hardware, Embedded Engineering and IT Services, with operations across India and the US.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR & People Operations professional/ HR Generalist to manage our India HR operations and support HR coordination for our growing US operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end India HR operations and employee lifecycle.
• Handle onboarding, documentation, employee records, leave, attendance and exits.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, processes and employee handbook.
• Coordinate payroll and India statutory compliance.
• Support recruitment, performance management and employee engagement.
• Handle employee queries and HR-related matters.
• Maintain HR reports and HRMS data.
• Support US HR operations, including employee/contractor documentation, onboarding and HR coordination.
• Coordinate with external US payroll, HR and compliance partners.
• Help build scalable HR processes as Tranquelent grows in India and the US.
What We're Looking For
• 3–6 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles.
• Strong experience in India HR operations.
• Good understanding of payroll, HR policies and employee lifecycle.
• Experience working with HRMS and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a startup/fast-growing environment.
• Experience supporting US employees, contractors or US operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technology, Engineering, Semiconductor, IT Services, GCC or Staffing experience is preferred.
