KnitPro International is a leading manufacturer of knitting needles and accessories, with our plant based in Jaipur. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Fitter to join our Maintenance team.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Fitter to maintain, repair, and service production machinery, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted plant operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
Install, align, and calibrate machine parts and components
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report recurring issues
Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed during repair work
Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
Assist in installation of new machinery/equipment as required
Requirements
ITI certification in Fitter trade (mandatory)
1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (freshers with strong ITI training may also be considered)
Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings
Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
