Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong programming knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
Hands-on experience in any one of the testing Frameework Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Webdriver or other JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks can also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Develop robust and reusable automation frameworks for web applications.
Create and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues.
Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain automation scripts and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
Collaborate with QA, development, product, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities.
Contribute to framework improvements, coding standards, and automation best practices.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Must have 6 years of experience
Experience in UI/Web automation testing.
Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation framework:
Playwright
Cypress
WebdriverIO
Seleieum Webdriver
Other equivalent JS/TS automation frameworks.
Good understanding of automation framework design and reusable test components.
Experience with API testing and basic understanding of REST APIs.
Good knowledge of Git/version control.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
