Role Description The Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar, responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, sales activities, and commercial performance. This role includes managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting growth in domestic and export markets for Switchgear, Stabilizer, Electrical panels, and related products. The Business Manager will coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate pricing, and healthy margins. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends, preparing business reports and forecasts, supporting turnkey project proposals, and implementing process improvements. The role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and office environment, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including experience in B2B markets, account management, and customer relationship management.
Operational and commercial management capabilities, such as planning, budgeting, performance tracking, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of electrical or lighting industry products (e.g., Electricals control panels, Stabilizer, cables) and familiarity with project-based or turnkey solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in basic office and business tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, business reporting) and comfort with using online platforms for business communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent management qualification is an advantage.
Proven experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing, electrical, or industrial products.
Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work on-site in Gandhinagar on a full-time basis.
