Role Description
The Senior Executive Accounts role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi/Calicut. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements and periodic reports. The Senior Executive Accounts professional will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting and cash flow management, and support audit and tax compliance by preparing required documentation and schedules. The role involves reviewing financial data for accuracy, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and implementing accounting best practices and company policies. The individual will also contribute to process improvements, help optimize the use of accounting software and tools, and support senior management with financial analysis and insights.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP tools, with the ability to work comfortably with spreadsheets and other financial reporting applications.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit procedures, with experience supporting compliance and statutory reporting.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide clear, data-driven insights to management.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and clients in a professional manner.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
3-6 Years of experience in accounting field.
