Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Control / Accounts Receivable role based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing customer accounts, monitoring outstanding receivables, and ensuring timely collection of payments in line with company policies. Responsibilities include tracking debtor balances, following up with clients for overdue amounts, reconciling accounts, and preparing regular reports on receivables and credit exposure. The position also supports the finance team with credit assessments, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaboration with sales, finance, and senior management to reduce credit risk and improve cash flow is a key part of the day-to-day work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Credit Control and Credit Management skills for evaluating customer creditworthiness and setting appropriate credit limits.
Candidates should possess experience in Debt Collection and managing Debtors to ensure timely follow-up and recovery of outstanding amounts.
Candidates should possess solid Finance skills, including basic accounting, reconciliation of accounts receivable, and preparation of ageing reports.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications in finance or accounting are an advantage.
Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, handle negotiations with clients professionally, and manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
