This role is focused on developing a refined and culturally relevant brand identity for a premium UK art and design business specializing in limited-edition framed artworks crafted from genuine drinks cans. The successful candidate will create a visual identity that is both distinctive and timeless, ensuring it complements rather than competes with the featured artists and licensed drinks brands. The identity must convey a sense of precision and discretion, aligning with the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The project is set to begin immediately, with the possibility of future collaborations.
Deliverables
Design a primary wordmark that embodies the brand’s premium positioning
Create a compact symbol or badge suitable for various applications
Develop a cohesive colour palette and typography system
Establish a monochrome version of the identity for versatile use
Produce concise usage guidelines to ensure consistent application
Supply editable source files with full commercial rights
Requirements
Proven experience designing brand identities for premium consumer, art, culture, drinks, or lifestyle brands
Strong portfolio demonstrating refined, timeless, and culturally relevant identity systems
Expertise in typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
Ability to create discreet yet distinctive branding that complements existing artwork and licensed brands
Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Availability to start promptly and deliver within agreed timelines
Experience providing clear, concise usage guidelines and delivering editable source files
