Role Description
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare MIS reports, profitability analysis, and management dashboards.
• Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and Ind AS.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Prepare annual operating budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget utilization and conduct variance analysis.
• Support strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
• Analyze capital expenditure proposals and investment opportunities.
3. Costing & Manufacturing Finance
• Develop and maintain product costing and standard costing systems.
• Analyze manufacturing costs including raw materials, labour, overheads, and production variances.
• Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, and finished goods accounting.
• Review BOM costing and cost optimization initiatives.
• Provide financial support for pricing decisions and new product development.
4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST laws, Income Tax Act, and other statutory regulations.
• Handle tax assessments and statutory notices.
5. Treasury & Working Capital Management
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Manage banking relationships and fund utilization.
• Oversee payments, collections, and liquidity management.
• Coordinate loan documentation and banking compliance.
6. Internal Controls & Audit
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and cost audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and SOPs.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
7. Payroll & Compliance Support
• Review payroll accounting and statutory deductions.
• Ensure timely remittance of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other employee-related compliances.
• Reconcile payroll with financial records.
8. Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
• Allocate work, review performance, and develop team capabilities.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Stores, Sales, HR, and other departments for smooth financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
CA / CA Intern/CMA (ICWA) preferred.
MBA (Finance) or M.Com may be considered with relevant experience.
Professional certifications in Finance or Taxation are an added advantage.
Experience:
15–20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Minimum 4–5 years in a managerial role.
Experience in oilfield equipment, heavy engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial equipment companies is preferred.
Technical Skills
Manufacturing accounting and cost accounting.
Budgeting and financial planning.
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Inventory and warehouse accounting.
Financial modelling and MIS reporting.
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, or similar).
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
