Automation Tester - Banking Domain

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation and banking/financial services applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and join immediately or within a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for banking applications.
Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, regression and integration testing.
Automate functional, regression and end-to-end testing using appropriate automation frameworks.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Perform API testing and validate backend/database data.
Identify, document, track and validate defects through closure.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and other QA teams.
Participate in SIT, UAT and production validation activities.
Ensure test coverage, quality standards and timely delivery.
Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with Selenium / Java / Python or similar automation tools.
Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman / REST Assured.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven and automation frameworks.
Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.
Experience with JIRA, Git and CI/CD tools will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management and test methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidate Preference
7+ years overall QA/Automation experience
Banking domain experience is mandatory
Immediate joiner / candidates serving short notice preferred
