Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance with tax laws and regulations, handling audits, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for group entities. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and implement process improvements for better financial control and reporting. The role also includes working with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Proficiency in taxation and compliance, including direct and indirect taxes, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in audit and internal controls, including coordination with auditors, risk assessment, and implementation of control frameworks.
Ability to perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
Comfort with accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse business units.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and integrity, with a commitment to ethical financial practices.
Prior experience in multi-entity or group structures, or in sectors such as financial services, real estate, or digital services, is an advantage.
