Head of Design

We are seeking an experienced Head of Design to lead our creative vision and design strategy at our North Coast, Egypt location. This is a senior leadership position for a seasoned design professional with 20+ years of industry experience. You will oversee all design operations, mentor a talented creative team, and drive innovation across our organization's visual identity, user experience, and brand presence. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on creative expertise, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop and execute comprehensive design strategy aligned with organizational goals and market positioning
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing design team, fostering professional growth and creative excellence
Oversee all design projects from conception through delivery, ensuring quality standards and timely completion
Establish and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices across the organization
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, and executive leadership to translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions
Conduct design research and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations
Present design concepts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and clients
Champion innovation and emerging design trends while maintaining brand consistency
Manage design budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively
Build and strengthen relationships with external design partners and vendors as needed
20+ years of professional experience in design leadership and creative direction
Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling design teams
Expert-level proficiency in design tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement design strategy and design systems
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Advanced stakeholder management and communication abilities
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and team leadership
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance creative vision with business objectives
Portfolio demonstrating significant design work and leadership impact
Strong mentoring and people development capabilities
