Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Rajkot. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities for electrical distribution panels, automation panels, and related products and services, including renewable energy solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and meeting potential clients, preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and following up on inquiries and leads. The role involves coordinating with engineering and service teams to ensure accurate solutions, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients through regular visits and communication. The Sales Executive will track sales performance, prepare reports, participate in tenders and government or private project bids, and support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, panels, automation solutions, DG sets, UPS, and transformers, with the ability to understand technical specifications.
Familiarity with renewable energy concepts, industrial electrical solutions, and project-based sales (private and government projects).
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, customer-friendly language.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and customer management.
Ability to work on-site, travel for client visits as required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, service, and management).
Prior experience in industrial or electrical product sales is highly preferred.
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field is advantageous; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
