Role Description The Team Leader role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing a team of Insurance Virtual Assistant Specialists supporting U.S. insurance brokerages and agencies. This role includes managing daily workload allocation, monitoring performance and productivity, and ensuring service quality and adherence to client expectations. The Team Leader will coordinate onboarding and training reinforcement, provide coaching and feedback, and act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and escalations. The role also involves preparing reports, analyzing team metrics, collaborating with leadership on process improvements, and supporting a culture aligned with the company’s values of genuine care and shared ownership of client success.
Qualifications
Team leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and client stakeholders.
Organizational and time management abilities, such as task prioritization, workload planning, and attention to detail.
Customer service and client relationship skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and problem solving.
Experience in the insurance industry, preferably U.S. Property & Casualty, or related back-office operations.
Comfort with remote work tools and technology, including collaboration platforms, CRM or policy management systems, and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing client needs and business priorities.
Preferred: Prior experience leading virtual or distributed teams and familiarity with outsourcing or BPO environments.
