We run lean a small, hands-on engineering team maintaining real production infrastructure for a live logistics operation, not a large IT department buried under process and legacy systems.

Role Description The Junior System Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, assisting with software and hardware installations, and responding to technical support requests from internal users. The role involves troubleshooting issues, escalating complex problems when necessary, maintaining documentation, and following established security and backup procedures. The Junior System Administrator will collaborate with senior IT staff to implement improvements, ensure system reliability, and support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in System Administration, including basic server and workstation management.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve user and system issues.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration to assist with configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network components.
Candidates should possess skills in Information Technology fundamentals, including operating systems, hardware, and common business applications.
Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments, basic scripting, and standard security practices is beneficial.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented procedures and guidelines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Chennai.
