Quality Assurance Tester

Roles and Responsibilities:
Be part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team in the US and the development teams that are primarily based in the US to:
Run test scripts/use cases for trading platforms and websites to ensure it is operating correctly and to identify issues before it is launched to our customers.
Work closely with software developers and program managers to build software artifacts (e.g., test cases, test plans, test procedures, etc.).
Document issues or bugs found and the steps taken to recreate them.
Perform integration and regression tests before products are released to our customers.
Report system bugs, debug and isolate problems, and verify the fix.
Perform smoke tests during market hours to ensure applications are performing per design after the products are in production.
The candidate will need to work some US hours to effectively collaborate with the team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
3+ years of relevant programming experience, preferably in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Software Engineer role.
Well-versed in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with software testing tools.
Experience in writing SQL queries.
Programming/automation experience will be preferred*.
