Configuration Analyst (ERP)

Job Summary
The Configuration Analyst is a key part of the Information Technology organization, working with Oracle Cloud ERP. This role participates in the full lifecycle of an Oracle ERP solution to deliver a highly complex, comprehensive business solution for Hub Group. This position requires an individual capable of operating in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple initiatives. To be successful, this individual must be highly motivated and have a solid understanding of the Oracle Cloud ERP product and Finance business processes.
Essential Job Functions
Execute the development and delivery of technology solutions aligned to ERP processes
Gather business requirements (functional and technical) and ensure solutions meet business needs
Perform the necessary configurations to support the business requirements in Oracle ERP
Define, develop and execute unit-test and integration test scenarios to meet business requirements
Participate in ERP solutions initiatives, standardizing systems and business practices, championing change, testing and user support
Ability to communicate effectively and work with multiple teams
Gives recommendations for business process improvements and system improvements
Gathers data, performs root cause analysis and recommends course of action
Effectively builds and maintains customer and peer relationships in support of technology solutions
Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting) for ERP as necessary
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
2-3 years’ experience working with Oracle ERP required
Configuration experience with ERP modules (AP, AR, GL, Procurement, Fixed Assets) and business processes
Knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, BIP reports and OTBI reports preferred
Problem-solving skills and data analysis desired
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical requirements effectively
Well organized and detail oriented
Ability to balance multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment
