Role Description The SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kopargaon. The developer will design, develop, test, and maintain custom SAP applications and enhancements aligned with business requirements. Daily responsibilities include writing and optimizing ABAP code, working with IDoc and BAPI interfaces, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing performance tuning. The role involves collaborating with functional SAP consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, preparing documentation, and supporting system upgrades and integrations. The developer is expected to follow secure coding practices, adhere to SAP development standards, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and general Programming skills.
Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience for designing scalable and maintainable solutions.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc and BAPI.
Candidates should possess good problem-solving and debugging abilities, with attention to performance optimization and code quality.
Candidates should possess familiarity with SAP ERP modules and standard development practices (e.g., enhancements, user exits, BAdIs) as an advantage.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
