Role Description
The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing multiple Basil outlets within a defined territory. This role includes managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and monitoring key performance metrics such as sales, customer satisfaction, and quality. The Area Manager will coach and support outlet managers, plan staffing, oversee training, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include conducting regular store visits, resolving operational issues, coordinating with central teams on marketing and supply chain, and driving local initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
Operational management skills, including multi-outlet supervision, performance monitoring, and process improvement.
Team leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching, motivating, and developing frontline and managerial staff.
Customer service and relationship management skills, with a focus on guest experience, feedback handling, and issue resolution.
Analytical and planning skills, including data-driven decision-making, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in food service, QSR or retail as an Area Manager is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site across Bengaluru outlets, with flexibility for local travel and extended hours as needed.
