Country Director/Product Lead – Fintech

We are hiring for a Product Lead to lead and scale the Malaysia market for a fast-growing Fintech company.
📍 Location: Thailand, Indonesia - Remote
💰 Salary: Around USD 12000/month
🎯 Experience: 7+ years
What you’ll do:
• Own the Malaysia market end-to-end across Product, Growth, Partnerships, Compliance & Performance
• Work directly with engineers to build and ship market-specific products
• Analyze signup, activation, retention and acquisition data
• Run growth experiments and optimize local channels
• Build partnerships with banks, payment providers and local partners
• Drive KYC, fraud controls, compliance and risk decisions
• Stay close to customer experience and drive product issues to resolution
What we’re looking for:
• 7+ years of experience, including experience in a venture-backed startup
• Hands-on Product experience — writing specs, working with engineers and shipping products
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable with SQL
• Solid understanding of fintech, payments and unit economics
• Experience with compliance and risk in a fintech environment
• Native-level Malay and fluent English
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s payments, identity and credit landscape
Nice to have:
• Fintech, payments or lending experience
• Experience launching or scaling a consumer product in a new market
• Partnership/licensing experience with banks or regulators
• Python for scripting and analysis
