About the Role
We are looking for experienced BSP / RTOS Engineers to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for activities supporting the development, verification, validation, and certification of RTOS and BSP software for safety-critical embedded systems.
The successful candidate will work across the complete software lifecycle, including requirements development, design/code reviews, integration testing, unit testing, structural coverage, and compliance with DO-178C standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review High-Level Requirements (HLR)
Develop and review Low-Level Requirements (LLR)
Perform software code reviews
Execute Hardware-Software Integration Testing (HSIT)
Execute Software-Software Integration Testing (SSIT)
Perform unit testing and verification activities
Conduct structural coverage analysis
Support software verification, validation, and certification activities
Ensure compliance with applicable DO-178C processes and objectives
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle
Analyse and debug issues identified during development and testing
Essential Skills & Experience
4–12 years of experience in Embedded Software / BSP / RTOS
Strong knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and/or Board Support Packages (BSP)
Good understanding and practical exposure to DO-178C
Strong programming skills in C
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of software testing and verification concepts
Experience working with test benches and simulators
Hands-on experience with tools such as LDRA, RTRT, VectorCAST, or equivalent
Good understanding of requirements, testing, code review, and structural coverage processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Aerospace / Avionics / Safety-Critical Embedded Systems
Experience working on DO-178B/DO-178C certified software
Exposure to certification-oriented software development and verification processes
Experience with embedded development, integration, and verification environments
