Role Description The Sanskrit Teacher role at KVS Tirupati No.1 is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging Sanskrit lessons, aligned with the prescribed curriculum and school guidelines. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves guiding learners in reading, writing, grammar, and oral communication in Sanskrit, while promoting appreciation of classical literature and cultural heritage. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, academic events, and training programs, and support co-curricular activities that enhance students’ language skills and overall development.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills to deliver effective Sanskrit instruction and support student learning.
Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education-related skills to design structured, curriculum-aligned learning activities.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, colleagues, and families.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sanskrit or related field, with appropriate teacher training (e.g., B.Ed) are desirable.
