Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in Gurugram. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and cloud-based components powering AltitudeSoftware’s contact center platform. Contact Center Experience is must. Daily responsibilities include writing high-quality, testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting production and performance issues, and collaborating with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver reliable features. The role involves contributing to system architecture, improving scalability and security, and ensuring integration with AI and omnichannel communication services. The Senior Software Engineer will also mentor other engineers, promote best practices in software engineering, and participate in continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Developing & designing CRM Forms, UI, Reports, Workflows as per customer need.
· Active participation during requirement gathering & analysis sessions with customers.
· Experience on application designing, development & integrations.
· Expertise in Asp.net, C#, MVC, JAVA Script, Web API /Web Service, RESTful API.
· Able to work on multiple projects and initiatives with different/competing timelines and demands.
· Product Demonstration & training during Proof of Concept to the customers.
· Working knowledge of CTI applications, MS SQL Database, CRM, Banking, Insurance or BPO domains will be an added advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Business knowledge in the areas of contact center operations & contact center product.
· 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Contact Center application designing, development & Integration (Web Services, REST APIs etc.)
· Should have experience & knowledge of C#, Microsoft .NET technology, MVC , RDBMS concept , MS SQL / Oracle.
· Experience in UI/UX design building complex database queries and procedures.
· Experience in evaluating business requirements and turning them into technical designs.
· Strong verbal & written communication with presentation skills.
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and cloud-based services.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in large codebases.
Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar) and related frameworks.
Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful architectures is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automated testing practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide technical leadership.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
