EdTech Product & Game Design Intern

Role Description As an EdTech Product & Game Design Intern at Bhava Tech, you will support the design and development of educational games and digital learning products. On a typical day, you will help conduct user research with learners and educators, participate in brainstorming sessions, and assist in translating insights into product concepts and game mechanics. You will work on wireframes, visual assets, and basic prototypes, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to refine user experiences. The internship role is purely online as of now, and involves close collaboration with the team to test, iterate, and improve product features. This internship provides hands-on exposure to end-to-end product and game design in the EdTech domain.
Qualifications
Strong interest and foundational skills in Product Design and Design Thinking, with the ability to contribute to user-centered solutions.
Ability to conduct or support User Research and UX Research, including gathering insights and translating them into design decisions.
Basic proficiency in Visual Design, such as creating layouts, simple interfaces, or game assets using common design tools.
Enthusiasm for educational technology, game-based learning, and designing for diverse learner needs.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Visakhapatnam.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in design, HCI, psychology, education, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Comfort with iterative design, openness to feedback, and a portfolio or samples showcasing relevant design or project work are preferred.
