Role Description The Articled Assistant will support the advisory, accounting, and compliance functions for fund clients and fund managers on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping and fund accounting, preparing working papers and schedules for audits, and supporting statutory and tax compliance filings. The role involves working on documentation for contributor onboarding, fund flow management, and portfolio-related reporting under the guidance of senior professionals. The Articled Assistant will help in data compilation for valuations, preparation of MIS reports, and coordination with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring consistent collaboration with the firm’s professional staff and adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting and taxation principles, with the ability to prepare ledgers, reconciliations, and working papers.
Understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance, including exposure to direct and indirect tax, corporate law basics, and audit support.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; comfort working with financial data, reports, and documentation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to problem-solving and documentation.
Enrollment as an articled trainee (e.g., under CA articleship) or similar professional training program; prior internship experience in audit, consulting, or financial services is an advantage.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Mumbai, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, professional environment.
Qualification Required : Inter CA cleared
