Must-Haves
5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
Proven experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migrations
Strong Python and/or Java development experience
Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting experience
Experience building automation scripts and frameworks
REST API and API integration experience
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven or similar)
Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments
Batch scheduling/orchestration experience (AutoSys, Control-M, Cron or similar)
Monitoring and observability experience (CloudWatch, Splunk or similar)
Performance tuning and optimisation of production workloads
Experience executing migration testing, cutovers, and post-migration validation
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice-to-Haves
AWS migration factory experience
AI-assisted engineering or automation experience
Infrastructure capacity planning experience
Legacy system decommissioning experience
Experience working within large-scale enterprise cloud transformation programmes
Experience documenting migration best practices and operational procedures
Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
