Billing Engineer-Turnkey Interior Fit outs - Pune

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare & submit client RA bills as per project progress.
• Verify subcontractor/vendor bills & process certifications.
• Review BOQ, work orders, variation statements, & extra item claims.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, & procurement teams for billing
inputs.
• Track project quantities & reconcile executed work with billing.
• Maintain billing records, payment tracking, & invoice documentation.
• Prepare cost reports, billing status reports, & recovery statements.
• Ensure timely certification & follow-up for client payments.
• Handle variation orders, escalation claims, & final bill settlements.
• Support tendering and estimation teams with quantity & rate analysis when
required.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms & commercial project requirements.
• Coordinate with accounts department for GST invoices & payment reconciliation.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in client billing and subcontractor billing.
• Understanding of BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying, & rate analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/billing software.
• Good communication & negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines.
Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Additional certification in billing/contracts/project management is preferred.
Preferred Experience
• Experience in corporate office interiors, retail fit-outs, hospitality, or turnkey
commercial projects.
• Familiarity with contracts, tender documentation, and project costing.
