Role Description The User Interface Designer will design intuitive, visually compelling interfaces for Homesty AI’s web and mobile experiences. This full-time hybrid role is based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating UI layouts, mockups, and design systems; collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and engineers; and translating complex decision intelligence workflows into easy-to-understand screens. The person in this role will maintain visual consistency across the platform, prepare assets for front-end implementation, and participate in design reviews and user feedback sessions. The User Interface Designer will also help refine interaction patterns and support continuous improvements to usability and accessibility.
Qualifications
Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills, with the ability to create clean, modern interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
Experience creating detailed Mockups and UI components, including responsive layouts and reusable design systems.
Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, information hierarchy, and interaction patterns for data-heavy products.
Basic to intermediate Front-End Development familiarity (e.g., HTML, CSS, design handoff tools) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) and versioning workflows.
Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment, communicate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback constructively.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in designing for complex, high-stakes decision-making contexts.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in product or SaaS UI design is preferred.
