About the Role
We are looking for a high-calibre Chartered Accountant to join JustAct as a Finance Manager and take ownership of key aspects of our Finance & Accounts function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified CA or a CA with up to 2 years of experience who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and audit into a high-ownership, business-facing finance role within a fast-growing Legal-Tech company.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of accounting and taxation, and the ability to independently manage finance processes while working closely with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and ensure timely preparation of financial statements.
Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory and regulatory compliances.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial dashboards, variance analysis, and other management reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial modelling for business decision-making.
Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, and overall financial health of the business.
Establish and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance as the company scales.
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, cost optimization, and greater financial efficiency.
Provide financial insights to the leadership team and support strategic business decisions.
Maintain accurate and complete financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with strong academic and professional credentials
Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
A self-starter who can take ownership and work independently
Commercially curious and interested in understanding the business beyond accounting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strong in communication and stakeholder management
Ambitious and looking to build a long-term career in finance and business leadership
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
Candidate must have cleared the CA examination in the 1st or 2nd attempt
0–2 years of post-qualification experience
Candidates who have recently qualified as CA are encouraged to apply
Prior experience in Big 4, leading audit firms, consulting firms, startups, SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies will be an added advantage
