We are looking for a Managing Director for Doka Chile leading the country's strategic and operational development with full responsibility for business performance and profitability. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will drive sustainable growth, strengthen Doka's market position, and lead a high-performing organization committed to delivering exceptional customer value. This role requires a visionary and commercially driven leader who can identify market opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals while fostering a culture aligned with Doka's values and leadership principles.
The Key Responsibilities for this role:
Lead the overall business performance of Doka Chile, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
Develop and execute the country's strategic plan in alignment with regional and global business objectives.
Make disciplined choices on where to compete and how to allocate resources, focusing the organization on opportunities where Doka can create sustainable value while protecting people capacity, inventory, working capital, and long-term returns.
Expand market share across formwork, scaffolding, solutions, and services through effective commercial and operational strategies.
Drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and business development initiatives across key market segments.
Maintain full responsibility for the country's P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Optimize organizational structures, processes, and resources to improve operational excellence and efficiency.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strengthen relationships with key customers, contractors, developers, authorities, and industry stakeholders.
Champion Doka's values, leadership culture, and commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) excellence.
Lead organizational transformation and drive initiatives that support long-term business growth and innovation.
What makes you a Great Fit for this Position?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Significant General Management experience with full P&L responsibility.
Strong commercial and sales leadership background with a proven track record of business growth.
Extensive experience within the Chilean construction, engineering, industrial, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of financial management, operational excellence, and organizational development.
Demonstrated success leading business transformation and high-performing teams.
Experience working within multinational organizations and matrix environments.
Well-established network within the Chilean construction industry and key stakeholder community.
Essential Leadership Competences including self-management, strong communication and trust building.
This role requires a hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution and works actively with the leadership team to turn strategy into results. She / He achieves this by building trust through transparency and integrity, and creating an environment where people can perform at their best.
