Role Description
The Software Engineer Intern role at NexLevr is a full-time, remote position. In this role, the intern will collaborate with engineering mentors to design, develop, and test software features for web-based and backend systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including classes, inheritance, and design patterns.
Interest or experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, server-side logic, and working with databases.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow best coding practices, and accept constructive feedback.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development workflows is a plus.
