Mind & Brain Hospital, Bengaluru is looking for a qualified Ayurveda Doctor to join our multidisciplinary psychiatric hospital team.
Position
Ayurveda Doctor / Ayurvedic Physician
Qualification
BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
MD Ayurveda candidates are preferred / welcome
Valid registration with the applicable State Ayurvedic Medical Board/Council
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
Role & Responsibilities
Conduct Ayurveda consultations and patient assessments within the scope of professional practice
Provide appropriate Ayurveda-based guidance related to lifestyle, diet, wellness and supportive care
Develop and monitor suitable Ayurveda-based care plans as applicable
Maintain proper clinical documentation and patient records
Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up
Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Provide patient and family education regarding lifestyle and wellness practices
Follow hospital policies, patient-safety standards and applicable professional guidelines
Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews and hospital activities as required
Candidate Profile
Good knowledge of Ayurveda principles and clinical practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centred approach
Ability to work in a psychiatric hospital and multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Good documentation and professional skills
Willingness to learn and collaborate with mental-health professionals
