About the Engagement
We are looking for a high-caliber Business Consultant specializing in Technology Strategy to work directly with our leadership team on technology architecture, digital transformation, scalability, and technical strategy.
This is a strategic freelance consulting engagement, not a hands-on software development position. The consultant will be expected to evaluate our existing technology ecosystem, identify gaps, and provide senior-level recommendations for building a scalable and efficient technology organization.
Scope of Work
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our existing technology stack, architecture, infrastructure, and technical workflows.
Identify bottlenecks, technical risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
Develop a scalable technology strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
Advise leadership on cloud infrastructure, data architecture, cybersecurity, AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
Evaluate technology vendors, solutions, and major technical investments from both strategic and commercial perspectives.
Review product and technology development processes and recommend improvements.
Establish frameworks for technology governance, architecture, scalability, security, and technical decision-making.
Work with internal and external technical teams to provide strategic oversight of major initiatives.
Translate complex technical decisions, risks, and opportunities into clear recommendations for founders and non-technical stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications
MBA from an Ivy League business school is mandatory.
Candidates without an MBA from an Ivy League institution will not be considered.
Additionally, candidates should have:
Proven experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, technology strategy, product strategy, or technology leadership.
Experience working with Fortune 500 companies, major global brands, leading consulting firms, or highly recognized technology organizations.
Strong understanding of enterprise technology architecture, cloud infrastructure, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data platforms, AI, and product lifecycle management.
Ability to evaluate technology decisions from both technical and business perspectives.
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional technical teams.
