Role Description The Digital Print Designer will work on-site in Amritsar in a full-time capacity, creating digital designs for textile prints, embroidery patterns, and related applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concepts and artwork, preparing print-ready files, and adapting designs to different fabrics, sizes, and production requirements. The role involves collaborating with merchandising and production teams to align designs with client specifications, brand standards, and manufacturing capabilities. The Digital Print Designer will review samples, refine designs based on feedback, and ensure color accuracy and pattern placement throughout the production process. The role also includes maintaining an organized design library, staying updated on trends in textile and fashion design, and supporting continuous improvement in digital print workflows.
Qualifications
Strong digital design skills with proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools) for creating and modifying print and embroidery artwork.
Experience in textile or fashion design, including understanding of fabric types, print techniques, color separation, and pattern repeats.
Ability to translate creative concepts into production-ready files, with attention to detail, layout, and technical specifications.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with design, production, and merchandising teams, and responding constructively to feedback.
Strong visual sense, creativity, and trend awareness, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant digital print or textile design work.
Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet production deadlines on-site.
Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a textile, embroidery, or apparel manufacturing environment in Amritsar or similar hubs is an advantage.
