HALBEX is building India’s Secure Export Infrastructure for Global Food Trade — a B2B merchant-trader platform connecting verified Indian exporters with international buyers through compliance-driven trade and managed logistics.
The Role
We are looking for one strong professional to own both Export Logistics + Trade Compliance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage freight forwarder, CHA, transporter & warehouse network
Handle logistics RFQs, quotations, rate comparison and shipment planning
Coordinate export documentation, shipping and shipment tracking
Manage Incoterms and logistics-related issues
Research India + destination-country food export requirements
Validate HS codes, certificates, labelling and mandatory documents
Build and maintain product-country compliance data
Support seller product verification and export readiness
Maintain SOPs, records and compliance evidence
HALBEX follows destination-country compliance validation and managed logistics through vetted partners.
What We Look For
2–6 years in Export / Logistics / Freight Forwarding / EXIM / Trade Compliance
Strong export documentation knowledge
Experience with freight forwarders / CHA / shipping lines
Good understanding of HS codes and Incoterms
Strong Excel, research and documentation skills
Food-export compliance knowledge is a plus
Ability to work independently and build processes from the ground up
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

This is an early-stage core-team opportunity. The person who demonstrates strong ownership and independently builds the function can grow into a Manager-level responsibility as HALBEX scales.
Chennai office operations are being established as part of our next phase.
