Role Description
The Multimedia Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for creating visual and interactive content that brings Midas AI’s brand and product experience to life. Day-to-day, this role will design and produce graphics, videos, animations, and multimedia assets for product interfaces, marketing campaigns, landing pages, and social media. The designer will collaborate closely with marketing and engineering teams to translate complex trading and AI concepts into clear, visually compelling stories and user experiences. Responsibilities include developing and refining visual styles, editing and optimizing multimedia assets for different platforms, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. The role also involves staying current with design and multimedia trends, experimenting with new formats, and contributing creative ideas to help enhance user engagement and understanding of the product.
What you'd work on in the first six months
Video for our Q4 launch, including the hero film, a product demo, and the shorter cuts we need for paid social
Motion inside the product itself, alongside engineering. Things like what the AI agent shows while it's processing, chart transitions, and the onboarding sequence
Landing pages and waitlist flows, from design through to developer handoff
Ongoing social content across X, LinkedIn, Meta, and Telegram
Building out the brand system as we go: typography, color, motion guidelines, and a component library the rest of the team can actually use
How we work
We're a small team, so you'd have a lot of autonomy over the visual direction and not much process to sit through. You'd also be the most senior design voice on the marketing side, so we're looking for someone who has opinions and will say something when a brief seems off.
Qualifications
2+ years of professional design experience with motion at the center of it.
Graphic and web design for digital products, covering layout, responsive behavior, developer handoff, and social assets.
Experience explaining technical or unfamiliar ideas visually. Our subject matter is trading and AI, and a lot of our users are beginners.
Based within four hours of UTC+8, so roughly UTC+4 to UTC+12.
Useful but not required: design experience at an AI company or in fintech and crypto, generative AI tools already in your workflow, some 3D, or a consumer launch under your belt.
