Role Description
We are seeking a Crypto Fund Investment Strategy Specialist to support investment research, fund strategy, digital-asset analysis, and portfolio intelligence across the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem. This role will focus on researching crypto funds, digital assets, blockchain companies, and emerging investment opportunities while developing structured investment frameworks and strategic insights.
The specialist will combine financial research with deep knowledge of cryptocurrency and Web3 markets, helping evaluate investment strategies, portfolio opportunities, market developments, and the evolving institutional digital-asset landscape.
Responsibilities
• Research cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, blockchain companies, crypto funds, and Web3 investment opportunities
• Analyze crypto fund strategies, portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, liquidity, and risk exposure
• Conduct fundamental and market research on blockchain companies, protocols, tokens, and digital-asset ecosystems
• Evaluate investment opportunities across Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, stablecoins, tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure
• Analyze tokenomics, business models, competitive positioning, ecosystem growth, adoption, and market dynamics
• Monitor institutional investment activity, venture funding, market structure, liquidity, volatility, and capital flows
• Develop investment research frameworks, fund strategy models, market dashboards, and portfolio intelligence tools
• Prepare investment memos, fund research reports, market updates, and strategic presentations
• Conduct comparative analysis of crypto funds, digital assets, blockchain ventures, and investment strategies
• Identify emerging investment themes across decentralized finance, blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, and Web3
• Track regulatory, technological, and market developments affecting digital-asset investment strategies
• Support due diligence and research for crypto-focused investment opportunities
• Collaborate with recruitment, research, business development, and Web3 industry teams
• Translate complex financial and blockchain information into clear insights for clients and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in investment research, asset management, venture capital, financial markets, cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, or Web3
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
• Knowledge of fund strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment research
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, stablecoins, L1/L2 ecosystems, blockchain infrastructure, and on-chain analytics
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial research capabilities
• Ability to evaluate companies, digital assets, crypto funds, and investment opportunities
• Experience with financial modeling, Excel, market-data platforms, or blockchain analytics tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex financial and technical information into concise strategic insights
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• CFA, CAIA, blockchain, or Web3 certifications are a plus

Compensation
$125,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience, investment research expertise, crypto-market knowledge, and fund strategy capabilities.
