We are hiring experienced ASIC Physical Design Engineers for a confidential client engagement. This is a full time, onsite opportunity for professionals with strong hands on experience across the complete physical design flow and advanced low power designs.
Role Requirements
Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in ECE
Experience: 10+ Years
Locations: Hyderabad and Bangalore
Work Mode: Work From Office only
Shift: General Shift
Work Week: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Handle top level floor planning, power grid planning and partitioning
Placement, scan chain reordering and clock tree synthesis
Timing optimization and timing closure
SI aware routing and signal integrity closure
Static Timing Analysis and timing closure using PrimeTime / PrimeTime SI
Handle timing and functional ECOs
Perform DRC, LVS and Antenna checks
Work on IR Drop Analysis, extraction and physical verification
Interface with front end ASIC teams to resolve design issues
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to physical design engineers
Prioritize work based on project requirements and coordinate across multiple teams
Technical Skills
Candidates should have strong experience in:
ASIC Physical Design
Floor Planning, P&R, Extraction and Timing Closure
65nm or lower technology nodes
Advanced Low Power Design techniques including Voltage Islands, Power Gating and Substrate Bias
Timing closure on DDR2, DDR3 and PCIe interfaces
Cadence, Synopsys or Magma Physical Design tools
PrimeTime / PrimeTime SI
PERL and TCL scripting
Strong Physical Verification skills
Signal Integrity and IR Drop Analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively across design, front end and verification teams.
