Role Description The Assistant Manager – Lobby is a full-time, on-site role based at The Park Hotels in Indore. This role oversees day-to-day lobby operations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests from arrival through departure. Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house teams, coordinating with reception, concierge, security, and housekeeping to maintain high service standards, and resolving guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally. The Assistant Manager – Lobby monitors lobby ambience, cleanliness, and safety, manages peak traffic flow, and supports the implementation of hotel service policies and brand standards. The role also involves training and guiding team members, assisting with shift planning, and contributing to guest engagement initiatives that reinforce the hotel’s luxury boutique positioning.
Qualifications
Strong guest relations and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests calmly and professionally.
Experience in front office or lobby management, including supervising teams, coordinating with multiple departments, and managing daily operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including attention to detail, follow-through on tasks, and effective shift and resource planning.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Comfort with hotel management systems and basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, and property management software).
Previous experience in a luxury or boutique hotel environment is highly desirable.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
