2. About the Opportunity:
The Quantitative Engineer role focuses on developing client-facing APIs and AI-powered tools that integrate structured finance expertise into accessible interfaces. This position involves modeling complex financial transactions, advancing an on-demand reporting tool, and collaborating across teams to enhance product offerings. The role is central to improving how financial data is accessed and utilized, supporting safer, data-driven decision-making.
3. Responsibilities:
Build and enhance external APIs and AI assistants with structured finance domain knowledge.
Implement modern connectivity standards to enable integration of AI agents and external tools.
Extract and model deal structures from legal and financial documents.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop client-facing reporting tools.
Engage with domain experts, product managers, engineers, and designers within a collaborative environment.
4. Requirements:
Over 6 years of engineering experience with strong fundamentals, including testing and system design.
Extensive knowledge of structured finance, including securitizations and credit facility transactions.
Experience with web application development, APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
Interest in AI and API design, with prior experience considered a plus.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to abstract specific details into broader patterns.
Proactive, innovative, and capable of addressing novel challenges.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range for this role is $140,000 to $155,000, with final offers determined based on experience, expertise, and other business factors.
